The Cotton Company located in historic downtown Wake Forest, NC has ranked in the Top 10 Raleigh Best Shopping Malls & Centers.
Travel Editors from Southern Living, Southern Accent, Cooking Light and Customer reviews decide who make the list.
The Cotton Company is among some pretty heavy hitters in the area!  However, it comes as NO surprise to me that The Cotton Company would fare well - they stand out among the crowd!
The building itself is a refurbished historic cotton mill and has received the Anthemion Award for historic preservation.  You all know how much that means to me!

In an earlier post I mentioned the Public Meeting that will be held this evening regarding the Wake Forest Community Plan!  This is a reminder that the hearing is scheduled for 7:30pm and is to be held in the Board Chambers at the Wake Forest Town Hall.  (401 Elm Avenue)

Wonder what all that construction is on S. White Street in Wake Forest, NC?  Well, no fears!  It is all part of the extensive South White Street Streetscape Enhancement Project which will enhance our Historic Downtown!Here are just a few of the highlights for the project:

Oh, this is it!  The Wake Forest Christmas Parade is coming next Saturday!  The Finley family grabs some hot chocolate, heads down to Historic Wake Forest early and picks a prime sidewalk spot to watch!  I hope to see some of you there this year - it is so much fun!  Don't forget to pack some chairs, some blankets and the pooches are more than welcome to attend as well (provided they are on leashes).
