Some were renovated with very little work being done and others were mere shells that would take the new owners patience and perserverance to complete.
The last house on the tour today was in Franklinton NC and this is what we found in the lockbox.

It's been a VERY long time … (31 comments)

Wow, what a crazy weather week in Wake Forest NC!  While we had incredibly beautiful snow last week it became quite a hassle the rest of the week.  Kids didn't have school Monday - Wednesday and now they will have to make up several of the days on Saturdays!  My neighborhood was FULL of kids sledding and having snowball fights and there were a few injuries - my son included.  My son, Liam, decided to find the steepest driveway and go rogue.......he hit a bump and ended up in the trees.  After 4 visits with an Ophthalmologist we think he will … (12 comments)

leesa finley: Small Spaces only Look Smaller When Empty - Have You Thought of Staging in Wake Forest NC? - 01/21/10 01:05 AM
So, to stage or not to stage....... I get asked on numerous occasions whether a seller should consider a stager for their home in Wake Forest NC when putting it up for sale.  My almost instant answer is YES!  While there are some incredible sellers out there that just "have an eye" for their own space and highlight the properties features outstandingly well there are others that just don't. While we may be speaking of occupied homes what about the vacant homes?  Staging does transform the occupied home into a more inviting space what staging does for VACANT homes is astounding! … (10 comments)

leesa finley: Education is Key in Wake Forest NC Real Estate - Know Your Competition and Price Your Home Wisely! - 01/04/10 04:11 AM
First off, what is a Market Analysis?
A Market Analysis is a tool used to help guide you when deciding on a price to list your home. Your List Price. A Market Analysis will use similar homes in your neighborhood that are currently on the market, pending (have a contract on them but have yet to close) and recent Sales. In the past, recent Sales could go back 6-12 months to justify a price. Today? Not so. Lenders are now requiring (in most cases) Sold homes used in a Market Analysis to be no more than 90 days. What if there … (12 comments)
