The second Sunday of every month the American Legion Post 187 hosts an All You Can Eat Sausage and Pancake Breakfast. You'll find Sausage, Pancakes, Orange Juice and a Hot Beverage for $5 per person or $20/max per family. The proceeds from the breakfast will support community and veteran projects.
The breakfast will be served from 8am - 1pm.
American Legion Post 187 is located directly across the street from the post office at 225 E. Holding Avenue.

Is everyone staying warm?  It has been bitterly cold here in Wake Forest, NC this week and there is even a whisper of snow tomorrow.  The last time this happened was 9 years ago.  I will never forget!  My son was born on January 12, I was ordered to bed for 6 weeks, my mother-in-law had to come help and we ended up getting 21 inches of snow.  It wasn't predicted!  The temps were the same as they are now and then, as is now, snow was only a whisper!  Well see...

Wake Forest NC has some OUTSTANDING programs available for both Youths and Adults whether it be athletics, recreational or educational.  In addition to those programs there are some much anticipated One Day Workshops available in September.
