The Wake Forest Urban Forestry Advisory Board (UFAB) will have its 5th annual tree seedling giveaway on Saturday, March 6, from 8am - noon (or until they run out of trees) on Brooks Street in historic downtown Wake Forest NC.  The exact location is not yet known due to the construction of the Wake Forest Town Hall but there will be directional signs that you can follow.

What a beautiful weekend this has been in Wake Forest NC!  I hope that you have all been able to get out and enjoy the sunshine because the forecast is showing a hint of SNOW again coming up this week - can you believe it?  Spring just can't come soon enough! The Wake Forest Urban Forestry Board is hosting it's 4th Annual Tree Seedling Giveaway!  
Saturday, February 288am - NoonWake Forest Town Hall A sampling of what you can walk away with this year for FREE are:
River Birch Bald Cypress Black Walnut Local Cub Scouts will be on hand to help with the distribution of the seedlings.  Wake Forest residents are encouraged to arrive early as the seedlings are given away on a first come, first served basis and once the seedlings are gone - they are gone!  There is a limit of three seedlings per person.  Each seedling comes … (4 comments)
