     Most deals don't come easy.  Nearly every mortgage application has SOME type of puzzle piece that's difficult to place.  Thankfully, the complicated loans with lots of moving parts are the ones that make me a better loan officer, and give my team an opportunity to shine.

     Winter finally caught up with us in Southern California this past weekend.  I'm sure many of you have seen the photos of snow (hail...but still, frozen white stuff!) on Huntington Beach, but even before that hail storm came, I got a good taste of winter this past weekend.

Showcasing the Golden State
 
     One of the AR contests for the month is a 'Showcase your state' contest, with a challenge to showcase your state in one picture.  That is a tough challenge for such a large state!  California truly has it all.  The term 'something for everyone' must have been coined describing life here, and though I've lived here only a short while, there is more than I could ask for here in California.
