real estate referrals: Some "Oldies But Goodies" Have Value...Others Just Fade Away - 02/26/14 05:50 AM

Benefiting From Experience.
When an agent broker generates more business than they can handle, it only makes financial sense to refer our the business you can't personally handle with the level of professionalism you provided before you generated that volume of business.
When considerating the time saved to generate more new business, developing good reliable referral agents is preferable to operating a brokerage to employ agents.
Also, far less risk.

real estate referrals: THE VALUE OF A GOOD REFERRAL NETWORK - EXPAND YOUR PRESENCE BY KNOWING YOUR MARKET. - 10/09/11 01:07 AM
THE VALUE OF A GOOD REFERRAL NETWORK - EXPAND YOUR PRESENCE BY KNOWING YOUR MARKET and SERVICES.
REFERRALS are an important income producing resource in the business plan of many real estate agents and brokers.  Outgoing referrals have been a focus of my real estate business since about 1995 when I established a presence on the Internet.  With many years in the real estate business as an agent and broker, I developed the ability to understand the many market segments in my area.  Living in a variety of towns and communities in Maryland, Northern Virginia and D.C. and knowing the many communities helps.  The Internet gave me … (27 comments)

real estate referrals: NOT EVERYONE LIES! THE FIRST STEP IN TRUST IS HONESTY. - 08/31/10 12:21 AM
NOT EVERYONE LIES!  THE FIRST STEP IN TRUST IS HONESTY.
The most powerful thing that one real estate person can say to another real estate person is, "I TRUST YOU".
Gary Woltal writes a very interesting article about honesty and being genuine and relates one person's opinion that "EVERYONE LIES".  I disagree.  I don't believe that everyone lies.  While there are many in our sphere who will make outrageous statements for the shock effect, most of us are sufficiently experienced to distinguish the difference between direct speech and brazen speech.  Over the years we know intuitively when we are speaking with some one who is dealing with us … (37 comments)

real estate referrals: WHEN A GOOD REAL ESTATE AGENT JUST DOESN'T GIVE UP, EVERYONE WINS. - 03/02/10 09:37 AM
WHEN A GOOD REAL ESTATE AGENT JUST DOESN'T GIVE UP, EVERYONE WINS.
Sometimes the horn you toot doesn't have to be your own!
My job is primarily that of a home buyer consultant.  The Homefinders.com extensive Internet presents offers Buyers Agency services to home buyers in Maryland and Northern Virginia.  When a consumer telephones or sends e-mail, I speak with prospective home buyers and after determing their price range and desired location, contact agents in my referral network to help the buyers find a wonderful home.
To help analyze the prospective home buyers' needs, I do extensive research into financing opportunities, new home developments, … (24 comments)

real estate referrals: FLORIDA SHORT SALE SUCCESS REQUIRES LISTING AGENTS WITH EXPERIENCE AND DEDICATION. - 09/08/09 06:35 AM
FLORIDA SHORT SALE SUCCESS REQUIRE LISTING AGENTS WITH EXPERIENCE AND DEDICATION.
A TESTIMONIAL FOR KATERINA and NESTOR GASSET of International Properties and Investments, Inc. in Wellington, Florida.
The first time I read in one of Katerina's posts wherein she stated that she and Nestor have a 100% successful track record closing their short sale listings, all I could say was WOW!  To say that I was impressed would be an understatement.  I know how difficult short sales can be for sellers, buyers, listing agents and buyers agents.  I also know that, when compared with the complexity and degree of difficulty involved in listing … (62 comments)

real estate referrals: FLORIDA RELOCATION SUCCESS. NETWORKING WORKS. I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER - 10/05/08 05:11 AM
REAL ESTATE BROKERS AND AGENTS WORKING TOGETHER can lead to successful home sales and everyone wins.  The key is working with agents who know their business, know the area market, know the stock and are honest.  The below is an example of networking at it's best.

REFERRALS SOMETIMES TAKE PATIENCE.  Some time ago I fell in love with a real estate broker, Bryant Tutas, known as Broker Bryant in Kissimmee, Florida.  Shhhhh, he's married to a fiesty lady who wears a sidearm and we don't want to upset her.  She's recuperating from emergency surgery.  I can't … (83 comments)
