Strolling around Sun City Grand I had the opportunity to meet Tiger yesterday while showing property in Sun City Grand. Tiger seemed to be walking his master, just a pleasant sight to see. According to Tiger’s owner, Tiger enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood twice a day, until last week. Tiger’s persnickety little attitude changed as the weather cooled down; he now prefers only a mid-morning stroll. It’s been chilly the last two days with 63°F yesterday at 10am. It was another beautiful sunny Arizona day. It's springtime; the desert is in full bloom. While other US cities are still experiencing cold blistery weather, there's a whole lot of sun here. At 8am my husband and I had our morning cup of coffee on our backyard patio enjoying the mild 66° temperature. SURPRISE! Temperature raised quickly. The first Arizona triple digit weather was recorded at 1:15pm. Although the temperature increased to the 100° prediction, it was dry heat - a perfect day to have an open house. … (2 comments)

Arizona is experiencing colder than usual winter. Sun City West and Sun City Grand golf courses remain open but golfers are huddling inside keeping warm. While growing up on the Big Island of Hawaii, the coldest that I can remember was 50 degrees. I remember waking to the nippy air looking at Mauna Kea and its snow tipped peak. I'm a woose for cold weather. Whenever it's below 60, I just want to cuddle in bed with a good book (now my Nook). I was showing property this morning in Sun City West.
