Lurking among the Spanish moss covered oak trees on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay is Old Town Daphne. Since 1763 this “village” has been known to be filled with the feeling of home. It is worth a drive to check out the local shops, restaurants, and friendly folks. McMillan Bluff is a park overlooking Mobile Bay with a sandy beach. Daphne is also home of May Day Park with bay access - playground, picnic tables, beach, pier, and boat ramp fill this spot along the bay. Schools both public and private are great.
