When selling and preparing your home for sale, don't overlook the importance of your exteriors "first impression"
Curb appeal is more than just what it looks like from the street, ( mown grass, landscaping neat and tidy)
Here are 5 things to include in your curb appeal check list.
1. HOUSE NUMBER-  Is it visible from the road? Do the numbers need painted,replaced or updated?
                                       ( What about the # on the mailbox if applicable?)
2. DOOR(s)- Does the front door need a coat of paint? 
                      Is the hardware functional?  ( Door knockers- doorbell- knobs and                    deadbolts?              Do they match?)

Ahhhhhh, the Christmas yard decorations when the home is for sale...
Have coached, suggested, explained until I was blue in the face, and even had a professional stager speak to sellers about how to decorate their homes for the holidays while it is on the market..
Most listen, and understand the importance of showcasing the home and not the decorations ( and the additional issue with gifts under trees...)
HOWEVER,,, I did forget to mention inflate-ables in the yard...

In Florida , we have to be mindful of Curb Appeal year round , and today made me realize just how important these 3 words are.....
MOW, WEED and MULCH,,,PLEASE !
Was showing a few homes to a buyer this afternoon and the second home we pulled up to , was in dire need of a mower, and the Flower/shrub beds we FILLED with weeds and a few scraggly shards of Cypress mulch.

This home is Owner Occupied, and a traditional sale. I have seen the inside prior and is in great shape, as is the back yard and patio areas. … (0 comments)
