elections: Paul Ryan.....I know Ohhhhhh So Very Little...Yeah, Neah or Who Cares? - 08/11/12 11:12 AM
So I just get into Wisconsin for a quick one day getaway and all over the national news and all over the local news is Paul Ryan, Paul Ryan, Paul Ryan?????  This past week we had Obama implying that Romney killed a woman at his company although he hadn't worked there in years.  On the other side, Joe Biden calls Ryan to congratulate him in joining forces with Romney.  Classy move.  I'm a fan of neither Obama nor Romney.  But still....two sides of the spectrum, but really neither of meaning.

I know nothing of Paul Ryan...but as usual...the Olympics are … (22 comments)

elections: Chris Lauzen for Kane County Board Chairman - 03/12/12 11:38 AM
This isn't your usual..."I endorse thee for candidate post."  First, I want to say that I have ZERO political affiliation with this candidate.  In other words, we have no history and have never spoken til this year about him.
LET ME EXPLAIN There is a law out there that discriminates against senior citizens when it comes to reverse mortgages in Illinois.  Every state in the United States protects their senior citizens, but the law in Illinois does harms senior citizens.  I was so upset that I called the senator who was attemption to get an amendment to pass the bill.....as well … (4 comments)

elections: Vote Kristin LeBlanc in Campton Hills Election - 03/20/11 02:13 PM
Let's be honest here.  Most of us know very little about Kristin LeBlanc.  I have seen her in her argument to get on the ballot against Patsy Smith in front of some hearing committee.  Patsy, sat there looking like she was the next contestant on the Survivor.....Dumb as a box of rocks?  Not really Dumb as a fox, I'd say.  She plays dumb when it's convenient (either that or she's dumb at all the right times). When watching her testimony in front of her friends, she conveniently forgot anything that no normal human being with an IQ over 85 would forget.  I'm … (3 comments)

elections: Election Ads are Over! - 11/03/10 02:12 AM
I'm so glad to get this election behind us.  I'm so sick of the campaign ads.  One of my businessmen friends on facebook said they'd rather seen the Viagara and feminine hygiene product ads over the political campaign ads, since, at least, those ads are positive.
I feel that there there was a loud voice in America when many democratic seats were ripped away from the incumbents.  Yes, republicans won, but so did the tea party candidates.  I was listening to liberal radio this morning and they were saying that it was really an indightment against Obama and his out of … (21 comments)

elections: Tomorrow's Election Day....Where to Vote in Kane County!!!! - 11/01/10 02:45 AM
OK....elections are here.  It's time for me to make my voice heard.  I'm sick of the way things are going and I'm tired of all of the stupid campaign commercials on the boob toob!  I'll be so happy to have them off the air.  In the meantime, if you're going to exercise your right to vote, get out there and vote for the change that you so want to have gone.
For those of you who don't know where to vote in Kane County, here's where you'll find your voting place!

elections: Getting Pissed with Politics - Elections are Just Around the Corner - 08/27/10 06:21 AM
Remember this when you vote in  November.  In  just six months, on January 1, 2011, the largest tax  hikes in the history of America will take  effect.
They  will hit families and small businesses in three  great waves.  On January  1, 2011, here's what happens... (read it to the end,  so you see all three waves)...
First  Wave:
Expiration  of 2001 and 2003 Tax Relief.
In  2001 and 2003, the GOP Congress enacted several tax  cuts for investors,  small business owners, and  families.
These  will all expire on January 1,  2011.
Personal  income tax rates will rise.
The  top income  tax rate … (6 comments)

elections: United States Representative Mark Kirk Announces Bid for Illinois Senate - 07/22/09 12:09 AM
This news jujst came out yesterday.  But in purportedly would be the biggest news in current Illinois government poliitics, Representative Mark Kirk is Officially in the U.S. Senate Race to replace Roland Burris.  As most people know, Illinois politics are as controversial as they get.  It seems that both parties are not trying to throw out "clean" people to run not only for Ex Governor Blagojevich's Governor position, but now that by the one that used to be held by Obama and Burris.
As Reported by the Chicago Tribune.

elections: VP Debate Last Night - - - My Take - 10/03/08 02:28 AM
Biden was great in his presentation and didn't stumble at all.  Palin was awesome.  Held her poise and demeanor against a Washinton lifer.
But...the debate results from a tax paying citizen.  Two things came to note:
1)  Biden was kind and courteous in not attacking Palin, but he spent his entire time attacking the Bush administration.  All he wanted to do was, as Palin put it, was to look back at the Bush Administration and tie McCain to it.  Let's be honest, nothing gets done by the president alone and the United States voted for a democrat Congress in 2006.  We … (22 comments)

elections: Top Dem Endorses McCain....Dems turn on this major dem fundraiser!!!! - 09/18/08 04:01 PM
I was working out yesterday at X-sport in Saint Charles.  While running during my grueling grind, I saw Wolf Blitzer interviewing Lady Forester de Rothschild.  I switched the channel only to hear that she endorsed Republican presidential nominee John McCain on Wednesday.
Speaking to members of the media at the Capitol Hill Club, Rothschild denied that Clinton had any influence over her endorsement decision, stating that the two have not spoken since before the Democratic National Convention in August. Rothschild said her endorsement decision was a personal one and one that came after consideration of the vice presidential picks and convention performances.

elections: Palin is Completely Inexperienced and Incapable!!!! - 09/09/08 03:40 PM
I had this forwarded to me this morning.  I love it....Sarah is the best thing that has happened to the US in years....
You heard me. The initial euphoria over the idea of a naughty librarian on the TV news each night for the next 4 to 8 years has worn off. Now, it back to hard, pragmatic reality and the reality is that she has no place in Washington, DC.
Want proof? Consider the following:
Only an amateur would speak off the cuff, as she usually does. Experienced politicians avoid speaking extemporaneously whenever possible.. Otherwise, the electorate might find out … (49 comments)

elections: Republican National Convention - - - McCain = Authentic - 09/04/08 04:05 PM
Saw the convention tonight.  McCain was pale in contrast to Sarah Palin.  The interviews think that this duo is now the "golden ticket."  It'll be interesting to see.  McCain is not a great orator nor does he command a great presence.
So what really is McCain's strength?  He's transparent, genuine and authentic.  This is a huge contrast to Obama....that's for sure.  I've never been a McCain man, but because of his wisdom in selecting Palin.... you've got to believe that he has wisdom that surpasses his 72 years.
Obama, the rock star, acts as if this is a walk in the park.  … (27 comments)

elections: Republican National Convention - - - Sarah Palin = Leadership Now! - 09/03/08 03:51 PM
Giuliani....Awesome
1)  131 times Barack Obama voted "PRESENT"....not yes or no in his tenure in the Chicago Machine!  That's not an executive.
2)  He's lead nothing ever.  Barack is the least experienced candidate in the last 100 years.  It's not a slam...it's just a fact.
3)  John McCain can lead us in times of war.  In economic turmoil.  John McCain doesn't vote "present" and can't as a president.  This is not an option as the president of the United States.  Barack can't vote PRESENT in times of turmoil and war.
4)  No political correctness by Giuliani when saying that "Islamic Terroristics are … (25 comments)

elections: Obama keeps drifting further from what's RIGHT! - 08/25/08 02:14 AM
Senator Obama blasts the bible. He takes passages and just distorts things. He calls the Sermon on the Mount "so Radical." Give me a break. The only radical is Obama. I'm not a big McCain fan at all. In fact, this year I'm voting against someone as opposed to voting for someone. It's too bad that we don't have candidates with moral conviction and fortitude. Either way, I think that Obama is getting exposed. I only hope that he becomes fully exposed prior to this election
