inspirational: Mother Teresa Got it Right - 09/20/11 05:14 AM
People are often unreasonable and self-centered.  FORGIVE THEM ANYWAY; If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives.  BE KIND ANYWAY; If you are honest, people may cheat you.  BE HONEST ANYWAY; If you may find happiness, people may be jealous.  BE HAPPY ANYWAY; The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.  DO GOOD ANYWAY; Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough.  GIVE YOUR BEST ANYWAY; For you see, in the end, it is between you and God.  IT WAS NEVER BETWEEN YOU AND THEM ANYWAY;

inspirational: My Twice a Year Christian UPBEAT Thought - 05/03/11 03:12 PM
I received this today.  Thought it was great for those struggling who wanted an extra pick up.  Bubble Gum?  Maybe, but encouraging????  You bet!
We serve a supernatural God!
He is not limited by anything or anyone and He's ready to do the impossible in your life today through His supernatural power.
The word "supernatural" means different things to different people.  Some people see it as make believe. Others think of dark, strange events  which can cause fear and uncertainty. While many Christians believe in the  "supernatural," they believe in it for someone else.
Throughout the Bible, we find people who received a supernatural touch from  … (8 comments)

inspirational: If You're a Parent and want to appreciate your kids more than you already do.... - 04/29/11 05:33 PM
Not sure how many of you have heard of this song, Cinderella. It's my girlfriend song that I share for only my 8 year old daugher, Claire and myself. It's a daddy - daughter song, HERE'S THE MOST AMAZING PART He had adopted two "princesses" from China. This is just a conviction for he and his daughters. Stunning....really. He lost his daughter two years later, at the age of 5, from an accident in 2008. Tomorrow is my 8 Year Old Claire's first communion. Each of the 5 of us have a special song. Claire and I.....this is it. We've sang … (18 comments)

inspirational: One of the Best Movies...EVER!!! TRULY!!!!! - 04/16/11 05:46 PM
BELIEVE IN ME! I love inspirational stories....especially when they're true stories. So my Mom and Dad (pretty hip for their early 70's, my children and my nieces and nephews all say that this true story is one of the best stories that they all have ever seen. We watched it tonight as a family at the nagging of my kids. The only reason I agreed is because my mom and dad agreed with our kids. Good enough for me to give it a shot. Worth the cost of buying off of Amaxon or E-bay or whatever....and keeping. Bottom line it was … (12 comments)

inspirational: One More Late Night (Early Morning Tune!) - 03/12/11 04:40 PM
Sitting here doing the late night chill. My wife passes out early. I was teaching my 3 oldest how to play the game "Clue" tonight, but it all ended early because of the new time change. I already posted some late night great music, but I have to do just one more. This is Bob Mould and Sugar for the mid 90's. I was in law school cranking this. Tonight, it's nothing more than a memory, but the melody.......let's just say, it's awesome! … (4 comments)

inspirational: Song for the Season!!!! - 12/23/10 01:44 AM
OK....here it is. The Christmas Season is upon us! I still have a lot of work to do, but I'm gonna get done early so that I can get out and finish my last minute Christmas shopping wiht my little ones. They're all involved with a sibling grab bag and they can't find that perfect gift for $5 despite over a week of looking. Well, today it's crunch time and it's time to move forward. Despite all of the busy-ness....Here's a great song to remind me and all my kids of the true reason for the season! … (5 comments)

inspirational: Forever Strong......an Awesome True Story!!!! - 06/07/10 04:44 PM
About once a year, I give a review of an awesome movie that is really life changing. The last movie I raved about is a true story called "Faith Like Potatoes," a true inspirational story about a potato farmer in South Africa. I'm not reviewing this movie, but go see it. The movie of the moment is "Forever Strong." Needless to say, it's true story. I love contact sp;orts, but know admittedly very little about rugby. This story, although revolving about rugby, has ver little to do with rugby. This is a story about life, parenting, coming of age, but really … (3 comments)

inspirational: Most Touching Video I've seen in about 2 Years - 04/24/10 01:22 AM
I was at Active Rain Camp this past week. In conclusion they showed two videos. This one went right to my heart. It is ridiculous the way that it strikes right to the core of your heart. You want to be touched this weekend, watch this. I know it's a bit long (6 minutes), but trust me, it's worth the watch. It's now one of my favorites off of You Tube. Let me know your thoughts. As of today this has been watched almost 3,000,000 times. I'm just the latest guy to watch it. PAUSE MY VIDEO ON THE RIGHT BEFORE … (10 comments)

inspirational: Faith Like Potatoes - 11/10/09 12:34 AM
Faith Like Potatoes. Makes a lot of sense to me....NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, this past weekend I saw this movie for the first time in my life. Wow....never even heard of it, but I'll tell you this.... In today's economic lifestyle, it's so hard to find things to inspire you and make you happy. Believe me, when I went to rent this movie it was not on the premise that I was going to see a movie that would make an impact on my life. Let's just say, that I was stunned and surprised that such a great movie existed. The most important … (15 comments)

inspirational: Nelson Mandela - Need a Reason To Succeed in Real Estate? - 10/29/09 01:20 AM
Embracing the Glory
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.  We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?"  Actually, who are you not to be?  You are a child of God.  Your playing small doesn't serve the world.  There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.  We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us... And as we let our own light shine, … (2 comments)

inspirational: What it Takes To Be Number 1 by Vince Lombardi - - - A lesson for realtors and lenders - 06/27/09 07:22 AM
What does Vince Lombardi know about real estate?  Probably very little.  I'm sure that he hired a realtor to buy and sell his homes.  He may have bought cash, but who knows?  Vince didn't know me personally, but he sure knows how to motivate me.  About 4 years ago, I hired Vince Lombardi junior to give my company a speech.  Here is an excerpt from his dad, the Green Bay Packer's coach, speech on winning.  If you ask me, it translates so well to real estate:
Winning is not a sometimes thing; it's an all-the-time thing. You don't win once in … (10 comments)

inspirational: One of the Best Sports Stories Ever Just Happened in my Backyard!!!! - 02/23/09 03:09 PM
I went to Northern Illinois University for Law School out in DeKalb.  I had a blast out there.  I used to run by the High School in DeKalb.  I still go out there every week.  When I read this story I just thought "How Friggin Cool is this?"  Actually, I was blown away by it.   You want a man and a team that kept it's perspective?????  This is the story as told off of the Associated Press.  I don't repeat other stories, but this is the rare one worth re-sharing so that all can think of what truly is important in … (1 comments)

inspirational: Most Insane Guitarist.... - 01/11/09 12:42 PM
Before I digress, this post is not about the ministry....it's about the coolest guitarist ever. I mean....really cool. OK...so a year ago, Im in church and see some teenage girl after service come up and talk about this cool weekend for all the youth. It's about vocations, but it's all about FUN, FUN, FUN. I decide to go and I see this dude sitting up beginning to play guitar....but something weird is in front of me. The guy has NO ARMS. He was born without any arms at all. His parents said that they won't be around to take care of … (14 comments)
