It's been a great summer! I had a great friend of mine give my kids some nice patriotic wear! This was such a fun summer. So...we had to take a picture to capture the moment. Even in our brutal heat....my kids had to throw the big sweaty hats on. It's been a lot of fun, but here's one event that we wanted to capture for our summer!!!! THIS IS ANYTHING BUT WORDLESS, BUT THE PICTURE SPEAKS LOUDER THAN MY WORDS! I had this forwarded to me via e-mail to me. This is very powerful. The night before the burial of her husband's body, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep with her husband one last time. Forrest Gump said it best....STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES. Josh howard the forward star for the Dallas Mavericks seems to become dumb and dumber all by himself. He's a one man wrecking crew. Here's my political statement of the week or second time this week. I love it because it's not coming from me....rather it's coming from a veteran who served in Iraq. PAY ATTENTION TO THE VETERAN AS HE WALKS AWAY FROM THE ANNOUNCEMENT. I'm not writing this post to make a point. Rather, I'm honoring the hard work of the american troops who have served for our freedom. This was forwarded to me this past week. I find that it's really inspirational as well as motivational. I posted last night on the speach from the Republican national convention. Republican National Convention - - - Sarah Palin = Leadership Now!... Having said that, I want to rewind a bit. This is the second election for me that I have felt all along that I'm voting against someone as opposed to voting for someone. With 300,000,000 people in the United States, I'm amazed that we don't have "real people" running for office in washington. That goes for both parties.
