Located on the west side of I-25 just south of Castle Rock, Keene Ranch subdivision can be found just of of the Plum Creek exit. (shhh... don't tell anyone or it won't be a secret for long!) Keene Ranch subdivision is a quiet little community with lots that range from four acres to 35 acres. And guess what? There actually are a few lots still available in Keene Ranch subdivision. The elk are bugling already in Keene Ranch subdivision Castle Rock Colorado When the elk start bugling, it's usually considered a "fall thing". We heard our first bugling here in Keene Ranch over a week ago, if you can believe that! My first thought: oh, no! It's too early for that already. Reminds me of a game we used to play when we were little: "ready or not, here I come"! I'm going to miss driving home and seeing the deer nibbling on the horse mint (my favorite wild flower in Keene Ranch!) See the picture here with a nice buck (17 comments)
