I have often walked my dog along the shores of many Southern California beaches, often stopping to look at the surfers, as they ready to swim out to meet the next wave. I watch, as the surfer's look for the perfect wave, and then they swim out to meet it. They meet the wave, let the swell lift them and ride the wave back to shore.
