Finally Winter is gone ! The trees are showing signs of green .The Lakes have thawed much earlier this season then in the past few years. Real Estate traffic to our area is still on the increase. Buyers especially are in the position to navigate the choppy waters and find "Hidden Jewels". I am absolutly amazed at the Lakefront bargains that are in our area. This summer season in the Irish Hills area will prove to be a Gold Mine for those who never dreamed that Waterfront property could be affordable. The past few weeks have indeed been interesting in the Brooklyn-Jackson Irish Hills area. Unexpected things are happening . With all of the negativity out there our market seems to be holding its own ! The foreclosures that are out there are under contract at a record pace. They are not affecting the lakefront homes at all. When the snow started to melt the calls shifted into high gear for Lakefront home tours. A common question asked by potential Second Home,Vacation and first time buyers in the current Market climate. How Much will they come down on the property? Believe it or not an agent working for the seller can not disclose that information. A good common response is that this is a buyers market. However some properties in the area are desirable especially around the summer months. We are seeing as Real Estate professionals people looking for investment potential.
