bugbee school: Bugbee School West Hartford Colonial in House Beautiful

The year was 1936 and the country was involved in a construction explosion. Houses were being built so fast that House Beautiful magazine wrote all about it. They chose homes from across the country and 3 Mountain View Drive in West Hartford was featured in that article. There was even a picture! Who would think that a West Hartford Colonial would have such exposure? Maybe it was the cottage Colonial styling. Perhaps it was the slate roof.
