In our beautiful Capay Valley lies the biggest Casino and Resort..Cache Creek! On July 7, 2007 they are going to have the first 4th of July Celebration. The firework display is suppose to be awesome. The show begins at 9:15pm. They say to go to the south parking lot to get the best view. The beauty of it all is all we have to do is step outside and I have the best view....I invite all of you to come and celebrate with us! This is a blog of the Tarlesson Family's children conducting an African Dance at the Esparto Park. You must realize this is not just an ordinary family. They came recently from Libera where they we ran out of their village and many of the family members where slaughtered. This family has lived in the jungles and numerous refugee camps. I cannot tell you the joy it brings me to be part of their American Dream which was to find a piece of land where the rest of the family could live and farm. That happened. This Oak is located across our little road in the Capay Valley, Under this tree was born 2 fawns. It is such a treat to see all the wildlife everyday. The Capay Valley is a rural and beautiful place. It is about 1.5 hours north of the Bay Area. It truely is one of the last gems in Northern California. I just love where I live and would like to share it with you.
