I recently was introduced to a client who made a difference in my life as an agent. She was referred by someone in another state, via ActiveRain, and had some particular needs to be addressed - she walks with crutches and uses a wheelchair, and the referring agent was concerned about placing the woman with someone who would be able to help this client find a suitable home. The ITHACA REAL ESTATE market is off to a roaring start this year, driven in part by the huge tax credit incentives, which are really bringing the buyers out of every corner! While most of the movement is in the price ranges below $200K, we are seeing good traction elsewhere as well, and certainly hope the trend will continue. Move-up buyers still have at least 30 days to take advantage of this tax credit also, and since the recent uptick in mortgage rates, we expect decisions to start coming quickly as we march down the last 30 day stretch into April … (1 comments)
