San Ramon activity for the week ending March 24, 2012 was another week of frenzy. There are currently only 85 homes on the market in San Ramon ranging in price from $350,000 to $1,899,000. We had 100 people attending our open house Sunday, so the low inventory makes it very competitive for serious buyers.
The low inventory and numer of buyers in the market place have completely turned our market around. With multiple offers, not just 2-3 but 10 plus, we are seeing prices starting to inch up.

Two questions I get asked by other agents and buyers that amuse me:
Why is the owner selling What will the seller take - what is their bottom line Yesterday I had a buyer tell me if they knew why the owner was selling it would help them decide how and if they wanted to make an offer. I can understand that. As my fiduciary responsibility is to the Seller, unless I have permission to disclose the reasons for the sale, then I won't pass on this information. Most times I just answer because they are moving.

Appreciation, gratitude and thanks--that's the joy of this business.
It is so rewarding when a client calls me to say "I have been thinking about you and wanted to catch up" instead of me doing the calling. This client was so much fun to work with.
It took a couple of months looking for the right home and when we found it she knew. Today she said "I love my home it is so cozy and spacious." We will be getting together next week to just talk--how nice is that.
One of the many things I am thankful for right now.
