Fully, one-third of the real estate markets in the United States are less affordable than a decade ago. According to a report issued by Realty Trac, based on a survey conducted by them, nearly 340 of 1,000 counties across the country are less affordable today than they were over a dozen years ago. As we anticipate a rise of interest rates in the near term, we can envision the percentage increase of counties across the nation that are no longer considered affordable or are less affordable.
