So how important are API scores to you? Recent history has shown that higher scores produce demand that ultimately increase home values. Of course many home buyers want to have their cake and eat it too, trying to purchase homes assigned to the 'best' schools for as little as possible. I speak to many people in different neighborhoods of San Jose. It's interesting to note that here in Almaden, for example, I have heard varying stories on the experiences parents have had with all these schools.
