The governor signed the bill at the Golden Mast Inn on Okauchee Lake near Oconomowoc last Friday morning. The bill's author, Republican Rep. Joel Kleefisch of Oconomowoc. Culling refers to catching a fish, keeping it in a live well and then throwing it back after catching a bigger fish. The practice is illegal in Wisconsin, but the bill creates an exemption for bass tournaments. Kleefisch says the change will draw larger tournaments to the state. If you were to ask me what my favorite lake is in Waukesha County I would tell you, without giving it a second thought, it’s NAGAWICKA LAKE. Nagawicka Lake lies within the boundaries of the City of Delafield and the Village of Nashotah in Waukesha County. Nagawicka Lake is located close to a major express way (I94)and other major roads (Hwy 16, HWY 83, HWY 67) so it is not difficult to travel to Lake Nagawicka.
