Congratulations to Riverside County's Murrieta Valley High School Mock Trial Team of 2012 - Elite Eight Bound! MVHS's Mock Trial team finished in the top eight teams out of twentyeight teams in the league this year, as of last Saturday, February 25, 2012. MVHS also received an individual award for the portrayal of the role, "Sasha Fain." As to "What is mock trial for high school," please see my blog post. The students put on a full criminal trial, with students playing all parts: attorneys, defendant, witnesses, bailiff, timekeeper. Most teams have attorney coaches.
