Algiers Applebee's Reopened! After being absent from the Algiers restaurant scene since 2005, Applebee's on General de Gaulle had their grand reopening on November 12, 2007 at 11 am. Staff hiring and training has been going on for the last few weeks and I personally know a few neighborhood teens who have gained their first entry into the working world with the reopening of this restaurant. I'm thrilled to see another dining option in Algiers.
