attitude: Excitement in the Air for 2010. And It's Not Limited to Real Estate! - 01/03/10 11:13 PM
As I've recently blogged; I've made some big changes in my real estate business that I still have not fully disclosed. (I still have a lot of changes to make on my Daytona Beach real estate web site before everything will become completely clear). But I am WAY out of my comfort zone! However, this is the door that God opened. And I trust HIM!
Personal beliefs aside, as I talk to real estate professionals lately, and read through the many blogs here on Active Rain, I sense hope. I personally was just glad to be out of 2009! Last year … (6 comments)

attitude: Bad Real Estate Market? Where is the REALTOR® Responsibility? - 06/28/08 07:42 PM
Are the Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach and surrounding areas of real estate market still shifting? Is it up to everyone in the Real Estate Industry to keep the market moving? These are the opening questions and statements by Celeste "Sally" Cheeseman in her recent post about the Hawaii real estate market. As usual, Sally used her unique charm and motivating words to direct us to be the best at what we do. I personally needed the kick in the pants. We all know that the media will only report a negative spin on any subject. Be … (10 comments)

attitude: Blog Comments and Personal Preferences-Debate or Communicate? - 01/01/08 02:07 PM

Isn't this world an interesting place? We're all unique, with our own personal preferences and ways of doing things. It's that unique individuality that keeps things fascinating.

As I already knew, Jon and I have very different personalities and ways of doing business. I knew this because I've read and commented on a few of his posts, and he has likewise done the same for me.
In Jon's recent comment, … (17 comments)

We all know real estate is cyclical. It always has been. It always will be.
So why does everyone seem so surprised that the market is down? And why are we so quick to forget the old adage "If we don't learn from history, then history is bound to repeat itself"?  This may be the first time you've experienced real estate-related negatives, but it's definitely not the first time it's happened. And unless you've been living in a cave, you knew that.
But this post is not about the real estate and mortgage market problems. This post is about finger-pointers, whiners … (13 comments)

attitude: It's all about attitude! - 07/17/07 05:05 AM

This post is not about real estate. It's about attitude!
If I asked you if you know people who are always negative, someone would probably come to mind immediately. And if I asked you if you knew someone who always made you feel good about yourself, whenever you're around them, someone would probably come to mind (at least I hope so on this one).
Have you ever thought about what happens when you squeeze the juice from a piece of fruit? Depending on the fruit, you may squeeze out seeds; some large and some small, or you may squeeze out a very … (19 comments)
