daytona beach realtor: Volusia County Fair Video. So Much To Do in Volusia County, A Great Place to Live! - 09/16/09 05:52 PM
If you live in the Daytona Beach area, there's a good chance that once a year you make the trek to the Volusia County Fairgrounds in DeLand. I just missed the Wordless Wednesday deadline (again) by just a few minutes, but I got an idea after reading Liz Moras' blog post called Wordless Wednesday-Hind Sight~
. Now that is a hilarious post! And it reminded me about my family's trip to the Volusia County Fair, when I decided to video tape the animals.... and the rides! Woo Hoo! So enjoy =)

daytona beach realtor: First Time Home Buyers in Daytona Beach, Port Orange, South Daytona areas... - 09/15/09 08:56 AM
Atttention First Time Home Buyers: If there's even a chance that you'll be interested in buying a home in the Daytona Beach area; including Port Orange, South Daytona and all of east Volusia county, DO NOT WAIT any longer! Time is running out, to take advantage of the $8000 tax credit!
Although your mortage MIGHT take only 30 days for full financing, in today's real estate market it is highly unlikely! And to receive the $8000 tax credit, you MUST close on your home by November 30, 2009! If you don't close by the cutoff date, you will not receive the … (6 comments)

daytona beach realtor: Daytona Beach Real Estate and Halifax Harbor Marina: It's Wordless Wednesday Again! - 09/09/09 04:39 PM
It's Wordless Wednesday again. So once again, I'm providing a photo-centered blog on the appropriate day; while tossing the whole "no words" idea out the window... Hey. At least I'm consistent! ;-)
So, for this Wednesday, I'm sharing two photos from one of our marinas/yacht clubs; Halifax Harbor Marina & Yacht Club.
This yacht club is absolutely beautiful, as it was completely remodeled a few years ago. It's also one of the more affordable yacht clubs in the Volusia county area.
I have many photos that I've taken while attending functions at the various yacht clubs in the Daytona Beach, Ponce … (12 comments)

It's Speechless Sunday again. But this week I'm changing it up a little bit. Instead of a photo, I'm using a short little video. This is my real estate assistant. Well, actually it's only one of them. But both of my assistants are excellent! They go above and beyond my expectations; They lift my spirits when I'm down, and offer encouragement in their own way. So I know you'll enjoy this video of one of them. Enjoy!  (Make sure you have your volume on!)

Would you like to borrow one of my assistants? Maybe I'll show you what my other … (13 comments)

daytona beach realtor: REALTORS® and Closing Agents Working Together: By Lisa Hill, Daytona Beach REALTOR® - 08/16/09 07:36 PM
This is post #2 in my "Real Estate Professionals Working Together" series. My previous post, just a couple of days ago addressed REALTORS® and Mortgage Professionals Working Together. I decided to do this mini-series due to some comments I saw on other forums, by people who were NOT in the real estate industry. I found the comments to be very unfortunate, considering how far off base they were, based on my 15 years of experience.
Before I delve into the meat of this post, I want to provide the definition of a Closing Agent. A closing agent is someone who does … (5 comments)

We post a photo with no description of it, and you have the privilege of interpreting the photo in your own way.
But this Sunday is extra special. Today is Father's Day! And I have an awesome dad. My parents only live about 20 … (19 comments)

Below, you'll find an incredible list of things you need to know when buying real estate. You can thank Lenn Harley for this massive list of information. Especially in Florida, home owners should take note of the part about using your attic for storage. We all do that! And I'm sure we'll continue, since having a floored attic, with room for extra storage is a necessity when you don't have a basement. But this might make you feel differently about your attic storage.

daytona beach realtor: How Would You Answer This Question? Did the REALTOR® Lie? Is That Even the Issue? - 06/08/09 12:17 AM
If you're familiar with the Trulia real estate site, you may know that REALTORS® can setup their accounts to e-mail them with any questions that have been posted in their areas they work. I have Trulia setup to e-mail me when questions have been posted about real estate in Volusia county, (although I only work in East Volusia county IE: the Daytona Beach area).
This evening while I was blogging, a question popped up in my e-mail from a home owner in West Volusia county; specifically, Deltona. I'm posting this here for anyone to comment on either my blog, or on … (74 comments)
