As most of you know, for quite some time I've been blogging about the condo conversion project I have listed, Surfside Villas in Daytona Beach. I originally listed these beautifully remodeled condos "For Sale", but with the real estate market moving at the speed of sludge, the seller decided to lease the units while waiting for them to sell. We now have only 5 of the 42 units left unoccupied. The remaining unoccupied units are all 1 bedroom units. Unfortunately, all of the 2 bedroom units have been leased for quite some time. Most of you know that I create full video tours for my real estate listings if at all possible, and have been doing so for about two years now. I've never been a fan of virtual tours because of the distortion factor, and could never understand why REALTORS® weren't just video taping their listings. Two years ago, the only place to host the videos was on You Tube (hardly the most professional platform). But now, we have a plethora of choices of professional real estate video hosting sites. I've previously posted blogs about the condos I have listed for sale or rent in Daytona Beach, called Surfside Villas. This is a condo-conversion project and each unit is available for sale or lease. The building has a total of 42 units, 18 of which have been sold. Since the real estate market has been so slow, the seller of the remaining 24 unsold units, who also speaks for many of the previous purchasers, decided to rent the units until the market turns around.
