Very cool creatures indeed, are the majestic owls who live in the beautiful Countryside Community of Port Orange, FL.

His story prompted me to write this post.Let me start by saying, in my back yard is the most beautiful Norfolk Pine tree. I know everyone thinks Florida is supposed to be filled with Palm trees, and we certainly have our fair share, but my favorite tree is the Norfolk Pine. Now regular pine trees I can do … (13 comments)

move to port orange: UPDATE ON NEW PORT ORANGE WAL MART SITUATION - 05/10/07 08:13 AM
For quite some time now, Wal Mart has been seeking approval from our City Council, to construct a Supercenter at the corner of Nova Rd. and Madeline Ave.
On the surface, to some people, this may seem like a great idea; except for the fact that there are already two Wal Mart Supercenters, within 3 miles from this location. Not to mention the fact that Nova Rd. was just widened a couple of years ago, to accommodate the traffic that had by far, out-paced what that road could handle. To build another (unneeded) Wal Mart would once again put too much … (0 comments)

move to port orange: Sharpening Skills-Real Estate in a Changing Market - 04/11/07 04:58 PM
After a steep drop in area sales, and an unprecedented listing inventory, 2007 is showing much desired improvement in market conditions in central Florida. In the summer of 2005, in the Daytona Beach area Association of Realtors, our MLS showed an average total inventory of approximately 1400 listings. Since the summer of 2006, those numbers have been between 200 and 300. But thankfully, those sales transactions are slowly increasing; even … (1 comments)
