Daytona Beach real estate is finally going green! Well, actually, it’s Ormond Beach.ICI Homes has a “green” community on Granada Blvd., (aka Hwy 40) in Ormond Beach that is now in phase 2. It’s Chelsea Place. The sales staff was nice enough to take me on a tour and show me a video of how these homes are different than homes of the past. I've previously posted blogs about the condos I have listed for sale or rent in Daytona Beach, called Surfside Villas. This is a condo-conversion project and each unit is available for sale or lease. The building has a total of 42 units, 18 of which have been sold. Since the real estate market has been so slow, the seller of the remaining 24 unsold units, who also speaks for many of the previous purchasers, decided to rent the units until the market turns around.
