I had to return a book to the library today and when I stopped in to the Bethesda's Connie Morella Library, I was surprised to see some new additions in the hallway leading into the library. There were dragons on this Saturday morning at the Bethesda Library ! Dragons are not actually a surprise in a library - lots of children's books feature dragons such as My Father's Dragon or A Dragon on the Roof. Looking at condos in DC is awesome! You never know what you are going to see from a window or a balcony. Rooftop decks are incredible. You turn around and there is the National Cathedral. You look in the other direction and there is the Capitol or the Washington Monument.

I live in Bethesda in Montgomery County MD and at least inside the Beltway we are experiencing multiple sightings of red foxes. It is amazing to me how many people know nothing about foxes - at least a lot of people on the local NextDoor neighborhood app. There are questions there like - If you see a fox in the daytime, does that mean that it is rabid? Should I be afraid of it? Will it hurt a human? Will it hurt an animal?

I had a great open house this afternoon with lots of visitors - several of whom expressed interest in the house. I am hopeful that this house will not stay on the market for long. The only flies in the proverbial ointment were that I didn't have time to eat lunch before my open house and the heat in my open house - empty of all furniture - didn't work.

Fifteen years ago or so we used to go to Santa Fe every year for the 4th of July and stay at Bishop's Lodge while my husband attended a professional meeting of anti trust lawyers. I got to do the spouse routine and go to cooking classes and spa treatments. Every annual trip included a visit to the Santa Fe Opera for a spectacular evening under the stars with amazing music and a few museums like the Georgia O'Keefe museum.
