The Lise Howe Group is sponsoring a free paper shredding event in Kenwood Forest II on June 29 from 1 to 4. This event is open to anyone who needs to dispose of papers and documents. There will be a large shredding truck at the intersection of Hillandale Road and Chevy Chase Drive which will shred documents as you watch.
In the event that lots of people show up with lots of boxes of papers to be shredded, we would have to limit the amount of paper that can be disposed of - but in the past, this has not been the case.

After a recent pattern of rising inventory and declining sales, the April housing report by ShowingTime indicated that the housing market had improved. The DC metro area market offered record home prices together with robust sales.
The median home price in the DC area hit an all-time high of $475,000 in April, a 5.6 percent year-over-year increase. Home prices rose in every jurisdiction in the area, except for DC proper where they fell slightly, but still by less than a percent.
