Paul has just opened in the new space on Bethesda Avenue and Woodmont, right next to Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids, bringing a welcomed new place to eat in Bethesda. Paul is a French based restaurant and bakery chain that can be found in the Boston area, Miami, and Washington DC within the US. It offers an amazing collection of pastries and beautiful breads in addition to sandwiches, quiches, tarts, and salads. Walking down Elm Street in Bethesda, past the new Soul Cycle location and the Dunkin' Donuts, one can't help but stop in front of the windows of Fancy Cakes by Leslie, a bright spot in Bethesda since 2009. I love to peek through the window to admire the incredible cakes that she and her designers are creating - bright colors, towering layers, glossy fondant! Makes me hungry just to stand there!
