Good news for San Diego home owners and buyers. According to Forbes magazine (and SDUT) San Diego home prices will rise by 2% per year this year and for the next few years. Although 2% may not seem like a large increase the important point to remember is that home prices are on the rise again. Home buyers that were on the fence should get off it as soon as possible to get the most out of the projected price gains as possible. San Diego Home Prices and Sales Up in August! According to the September 12th article in the San Diego Union Tribune both home sales (number of homes sold) and home prices were up in August. In June San Diego home prices increased by 11.2% as compared to the same period last year. This is the 14th month in a row that San Diego home prices have increased. As Jennifer Davis of the San Diego Union Tribune wrote on August 31st, we are heading into the traditionally slow time of the year for real estate.
