trust: Why Does a Real Estate Agent Take a Listing and Forgot About It?

This is something that I have never understood and over the past 27 years nothing has really changed. When I dialed an expired listing yesterday the owner told me she thought the property was still on the market. Actually it expired November 30 and no one had called to renew the listing from the agent's office. The woman was elderly and did not have much computer experience so she wasn't able to check her home on the MLS. Looks like the agent forgot to keep in touch as well.
