davis oklahoma: Davis, OK Museum -- Part II - 05/17/10 06:01 PM
These pictures were taken on Sunday May 16th, 2010 at the Davis Museum.  To see part I of this blog, click here.  This is a picture of the train depot/museum at Davis Oklahoma.  It is on the main highway going through Davis right near the railroad tracks.

The museum is open from 10am to 4pm.  The suggested donation is $1. 

The historic certificate is displayed proudly just near the front door of the musuem. 

I took a picutre of this train near the musuem.  What a beautiful sunny day it was, perfect for taking pictures.

Welcome to Davis, Oklahoma.  I travelled here to attend a special train spotting weekend.

This mural is in front of Davis City Hall. 

The painted buffalo is also in front of the City Hall.

There are also painted buffalo in West Yellowstone, Wyoming.  See my blog about Yellowstone for more pictures.

Below is the depot/museum located at Davis, Oklahoma.

This CSX freight train came rumbling through about 7:10pm on Saturday 5/15/10.
