As I near 300,000 points on Active Rain, I am still entusiastic and raring to go. I'd encourage home owners in the Houston, Tomball, Magnolia, Hockley, Waller, Cypress or Pinehurst area to put my expertise to work to sell your home. A few of my stategies are staging, great pictures, virtual tour, flyers, 800 number signs, postcards to the neighbors and follow up calls to them. I also love working with buyers. Who do you know who needs to buy or build a house? I can help in their search. In addition to working as a Century 21 Agent, I also (0 comments)

Flowers, Birds and Fun in the Warm Sun -- Jamaican Style 1/2/13! Last week I went on a cruise to Jamaica, Grand Caymen Island and Cozumel. When we left Galveston on 12/30/12 it was a chilly 35 degrees. When the Carnival Magic arrived in Jamaica last Wednesday it was in the 80's. Here are some pictures I wanted to share with you.
This beautiful flowering tree was near the Jamaican port authority.
The same flowering tree was where I saw a hummingbird. You can only see an outline of it here, but the colors were magnificent.

This was taken from the front porch of my Century 21 office in Tomball. It faces west toward Lone Star College -- Tomball.
This was from Faulky Gully at Louetta Rd. Faulky Gully runs through Heatherwood Village and Lakewood Forest subdivisions. Louetta Rd is the dividing line between Houston and Tomball. I took this picture from the Houston side of Louetta.
This was after a rain storm. The color is a vibrant orange. I just had to share it with you. (1 comments)
These bovine were on display near the river for all to see. This one was near the children's park in a group of three cows.
This basketball cow was headed away from the river. This is sort of near where the bats come out from under the bridge at dusk to feed on mosquitos.
This fancy yeller' cow has lots of cute cowboy boots on it. Very creative. I don't know if the cows are (2 comments)
tomball homes for sale: Buckets of Fun at the AIA Galveston Sand Castle Contest June 2nd 2012

Galveston AIA Sand Castle Contest -- June 2nd, 2012. For a fun outing, make sure and go to the Sand Castle Contest on East Beach in Galveston the first Saturday of June each year. There are some wonderful sand castles, as well as some funny and innovative ones as well.
There were also prizes for the Best Team Costume. These were very creative. I love the red sign and dragon on the wood planks. Each team had a rectangle to construct their sand castle in, for this one they had a dragon around three sides of the rectangle. It was impressive. (0 comments)
This was taken on the way back from the Sandcastle Contest Saturday June 2nd, 2012. This shot was from the Galveston causeway.
This was from the causeway looking the other direction toward the new railroad bridge. The middle part of the bridge lifts up for barges and boats to pass under.
This stunning sunset was taken through the tree. It almost looks like the tree is on fire.
The same sunset from a different angle. According to the sign across the street it was June 4th, 2012. If you are (2 comments)
tomball homes for sale: The Golden Gate Bridge Turns 75!
- 05/26/12 12:34 AM
Happy 75th Birthday Golden Gate Bridge! I have enjoyed traveling to California and San Francisco and driving (and walking) across your suspension bridge numerous times. You have such a unique and recognizable color and appearance. I refer to you as "my bridge", but I bet a lot of other people do too. Your park is awesome as well, stretching well inland on the San Francisco side. Your light house at Point Reyes is very interesting and you even had a section of the Golden Gate National park with cows grazing on it. You have brought happiness to many people over the (2 comments)

A Round of minuature golf, or putt-putt as we sometimes call it, is a welcome opportunity to have some fun in Austin. Peter Pan Mini Golf is on Barton Springs Drive.
Don't forget to have a great breakfast or lunch at an Einstein's Bagel's. Outstanding food and awesome service. The last time I was at this one (on Hwy 35) the manager made a specialty item for me and served it to me hot out of the oven. Yumm!!

Tom Petty & The HeartBreakers -- UT Austin -- May 5th, 2012 Last Saturday at this time I was driving to Austin to see Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. I worked part of the day and then met my husband at the house so we could take a trip to Austin to see Tom Petty. The concert was really good. Tom said this was the last leg of the US tour. He played some oldies from his first and second albums.
Here were some of the songs he sang in his over two hour live performance: · Listen to Her (2 comments)
I found some beautiful ducks in Tomball the other day. They were at their own small lake.
I think they think I have food with me today, but I wasn't prepared. Sorry ducks, maybe next time.
I like this shot, I can see the reflection of the duck's neck in the water, yet I can also see his foot under the water.
Look at the color of the feathers on this duck. I must have been at just the right angle to get the color to come out such a light blue hue. The water is very (1 comments)
Last night I pulled up to Panera Bread on Texas 249 only to find a mirror image car to mine in front of me. I immediately parked and took some pictures.
This is the first time I've seen another white Nissan just like my car, so I didn't dare miss the opportunity to take the pictures.
They are really cute cars. The reflectors add a nice touch to the pictures. (1 comments)
I happened to look out the window last Thursday 1/12/12 and noticed this spectacular sunset. It looked like the sky was on fire.
The reflection from the clouds was just beautiful. It almost looked like lava.
Sorry about the wires in the way. Just wanted to share this awesome sight with you. If you are looking to buy a home and are feeling lost in the dark, let me show you the light! (4 comments)
