A place where wallpaper is in vogue and where fireplaces are not optional - that would be a house built in 1883. The Glenn House in Cape Girardeau is a living museum, faithfully restored by the Historical Association of Greater Cape Girardeau to capture details of the house as it was originally built and then remodeled in 1900 to its current Queen Anne style.
The Glenn House website says the house has been "faithfully restored and has many original architectural features, such as lights, plumbing fixtures, moldings, and wall treatments. Authentic period furniture graces its late Victorian interior.
