Today, its a known fact, people are living longer than ever before.  And many elderly people want to stay in their home.  Assuming the Ma and Pa are doing fine at home, here are some things that can be done to the house to help an aging person get around their home a little easier.
 
Think about installing a walk-in shower with wheel chair access or fold down shower seat. Install grab bars near toilet and in the shower. Temperature control or anti-scald valves on faucets. Change door knobs to levers for easier use for people with arthritis. Maybe offset … (0 comments)
