Saturday January 15th offers the opportunity to come out to an educational afternoon focused on understanding woodwork used in older San Diego homes, particulary the character homes and historic homes of our Mission Hills. The introduction is "Where did all that wood come from, anyway?" Followed by a first lecture of "Reading the Grain: Understanding the role of woodwork in mainting the character of a building." Tour the new Mission Hills Historic Annex District! Saturday September 25th, 2010 1 pm to 4 pm Two years ago two histric districs were formed in Mission Hills. And now we are announcing a new area to be submitted as an addition to the Historic Districts.
