The Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center in Riverhead is asking to help them choose a name for 4 baby otters. Three male and one female otter pups were born to their proud parents, father Peanut Butter and mother Jelly. The Aquarium has asked people to go to its Facebook page and pick from one of 10 names which are Cayenne, Nutella, Butter, Jam, Fluff, Sage, Paprika, Rye, Basil and Tank. The First night of Chanukah starts at sundown tonight and there will be a host of Menorah Lightings to start the season which runs this year from December 8 through Decemer 16. The St. James Chamber Of Commerce holds its annual Menorah Lighting this evening December 8 at 5:30 at the St. James Triangle by Lake avenue and 25A. Starting December 16, 2012 at 1:30 p.m., The Coastal Research and Education Society of Long Island (CRESLI) will begin its Seal Walk season at Cupseogue Beach County Park at the western end of Dune Road in Westhampton Long Island. The Long Island Aquarium is presenting an opportunity to work behind the scenes with their Marine Mammal staff. You can learn how the Aquairum's animals are trained and participate in the training session. Training sessions are held at 10:15 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Saturdays; April through Septmeber.
