Growing up in Michigan, the Great Lakes State, I grew up learning to fish and taught the sport to my daughter.  We have had a slow start in the season as the weather has not been too cooperative. When I was finally able to get out on the lake, Sunday, the weather was beautiful (75 and low winds!) which allowed me the opportunity to "wet a line" after work and get a couple of hours in on the lake of fishing.   As we were fishing, it occurred to me how much fishing is like marketing and selling real estate.  Let me explain...

We are so lucky to have so many beautiful Lakes, Rivers, Forests, Fields, Parks and Year-Round Recreational Choices just minutes from our homes.  One of my favorites is the 4,700 Acre Proud Lake Recreational Area located in Commerce Township.

Upper and Lower Proud Lakes, Moss Lake, and the Huron River are a part of the Proud Lake State Park & Modern Campground located in Commerce Township, Michigan. 
You can enjoy the beautiful park land, hunting, fishing, swimming, boating, picnicing, nature, hiking, cross-country skiing, snow mobiling, mountain biking, equestrian trails, metal detecting, kayaking, Paddle Boating and canoeing.
