The new year has begun. I like the renewed feeling after the first of the year. Everything feels fresh, I begin with a new sense of adventure and a new attitude. My son will be back in school from the two weeks off. Remembering where I was at today - 12 years ago today - has been running through my mind quite a bit. I remember getting a phone call from our roommates brother who worked at the Pentagon letting us know that he was okay but could not find his wife who worked in a part of the Pentagon that was near where the plane hit. When we pulled up to the house, there were no cars outside and the key was in the lockbox. The house was vacant, but as I always do, knocked on the door, opened it and said “Real Estate”.
