Labor Day: a tribute to the American workers Labor Day marks the end of summer, the closings of pools and openings of school. Does anyone remember that we celebrate Labor Day as a tribute to American workers?
Throughout the years, American workers have fought for many rights and privileges that we take for granted today - the weekend, an eight-hour work day, health insurance and pension, and paid vacations, to name a few. My father-in-law who I never met, retired from the U. S. Postal service, and his Union benefits enabled him to raise a family, send his son (0 comments)
