Life in Daytona Beach and surrounding areas has alot to offer .  Port Orange, is a town nearby which we call home now.  CNN Money named Port Orange one of the best places to retire in 2006.  I say it's one of the best places for people of all ages to call home.
Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach Shores, Holly Hill, and all surrounding areas have homes in different price ranges, that will serve different needs.  They are located within 30 minutes of another. I met both sets of buyers the same week.  They were interested in my listing of 5 acres in the country and wanted to live on a farm.  However, they as individuals had nothing in common. One was a father of 5, former pro ball player and was presently self employed.  The other, owner of 5+ rental homes wanted a place to relax and store equipment for her next business venture.
