Those of us who live in Addison, Texas LOVE living here.We're a small suburban community just north of big city Dallas, but we have a small town attitude.
 
Our Addison Police Department and Addison Fire Department joined forces to create this video capturing the spirit of the season: Santa's Heroes 2018. Watch until the end for the behind-the-scenes footage!

Love Note From an Addison Police Officer.
One of the many things I love about Addison, Texas is the caring Town employees. Yesterday morning, while I worked from my home office at the front of the house, I watched as an Addison police officer left his car and walked up my neighbor's driveway.  He placed a slip of paper under the windshield wiper blade.  Then, instead of returning to the patrol car, oh no! He walked across the lawn to my driveway and into my garage where my car was parked!

If you get pulled over in Addison, think twice about out-running the local police!
Every police officer in Addison must earn at least a "satisfactory" evaluation AND pass the entry level physical fitness test before a pay raise is granted.  That includes the Chief of Police and the other senior managers!   The only other department in the state that has a continuing fitness requirement is the Texas Department of Public Safety. 
Here's the Addison Police Department Fitness Test:
