dallas: Update: Antiques Roadshow in Dallas Texas

Active Rain isn't the only AR around. Antiques Roadshow, the popular television series on PBS, taped in Dallas one weekend this past June for their upcoming season. The show was last here 10 years ago. The turnout at the Dallas Convention Center was tremendous. Over 6000 people showed up to see the appraisers, and more than 100 KERA staff and volunteers participated. Three episodes will be made from the footage filmed by the crew. Active Rain isn't the only AR around. Antiques Roadshow, the popular series on PBS, is taping in Dallas this weekend for their upcoming season. The show was last here 10 years ago. It's too late to get tickets now, however. If you wanted to get in, you should have applied online before April 20th or sent a postcard by April 5th. From the thousands of requests submitted, 6,800 names were drawn at random and these folks were sent tickets.
