voting: Voting in Dallas County Elections - BIG Changes - 10/30/19 10:27 AM
I admit it. I'm a poll worker. No, no no, not a pole worker, a poll worker!
 
I volunteered to work during the election last November and was assigned to a voting location in an elementary school in Irving, Texas. It was fun and interesting (except the 1+ hour power failure when someone accidently drove into a transformer). So when the election judge, a 22 year old college student, called and asked me to serve again, I told him to sign me up!
 
Dallas County has recently changed out all the old voting equipment and replaced it with newer, more redundant equipment. We now … (1 comments)
