being thankful: Day 3, thankful for......foggy SF days - 11/16/16 12:47 PM
San Francisco has many micro climates, and Pacific Heights is one usually free from the swirling fog that often shrouds the Golden Gate bridge and envelopes the streets  in the more western parts of the City.
Not so a few mornings ago when I walked along Jackson Street.  It was still heavy an hour later on my way back. The fog didn't stop the wild parrots from squawking and flitting about, nor the walkers, joggers, and dogs from frolicking.
Just one more thing for which to be thankful - the mysterious fog that gives familiar sights a new appearance.

being thankful: Day Two - Today I'm thankful for... - 11/15/16 03:02 PM
Day Two -- today I'm thankful for having the use of the beautiful surroundings of The Rockwell to share with friends, family and clients. Our client get-together over the weekend had the theme of "life styles - then and now."
We started our afternoon at our condo complex, built in 2003, touring the common areas and sharing hors d'oeuvres in our condo. Next stop: a tour of the 1886 Haas-Lillienthal house to see how wealthy San Franciscans lived in the Victorian era. We then walked the 5 blocks to The Rockwell, stopping along the way to eyeball other Victorians as well … (5 comments)
