glide: Bookending this January day in San Francisco

Today is the first Friday of 2020, the second day of the abbreviated work week. So just how does a San Francisco RealtorĀ® spend this day to kick start a great year? Often the answer is "a little of this, a little of that." Some of my highlights today: The morning started early, with my husband driving me pre-dawn to Glide where I served breakfast to roughly 600 hungry and many homeless neighbors. The morning drive down Mason Street to Ellis was beautiful, as you can see in the first photo. We finished serving and cleaning up by 9:15 today, earlier (73 comments)
glide: Rolling up my sleeves-time to make a difference in my city

Possibly because of my profession as a real estate agent, or perhaps because of my role as a mother and grandmother, or maybe just because -- I've long supported charities working on housing and hunger issues. Usually my support has been financial. Thanks to the San Francisco Association of Realtor's "Give Back Day" I had an opportunity last year to volunteer at Glide Memorial serving meals to the homeless and hungry. My assignment was to welcome each client who came through the line, and hand each a breakfast tray. Each tray had been filled with a variety of breakfast items, with good (21 comments)
