Happy Independence Day! After several intense weeks in real estate, what could be better than a day off? Yesterday was such a day, and the Mother Lode country beckoned. The gold rush of 1848 began the birth of our modern California, and seemed an appropriate destination for an Independence Day celebration.
The Amador Flower Farm in Plymouth was our "excuse" for a day trip, but first came an outdoor lunch at Amador Vintage Market, where we enjoyed delicious sandwiches and discovered their homemade potato chips.
